Why this blog lives in Takenotsuka

April 2017, half a year in 竹ノ塚, and a small domain almost ten years later.

In April 2017 I was let go from a software engineering job. Not a story I tell often — just a quiet turn in the road.

For about half a year after that, I lived in Takenotsuka (竹ノ塚), in Adachi, Tokyo. Ordinary streets, the station at the centre of the day, a neighbourhood that asked nothing of me except to keep going.

Almost ten years on, I've put a small blog on this name: blog.takenotsuka.de. Not as a monument — more as a nod. That chapter led me here.

blog.takenotsuka.de という小さなブログを、この名前の下に置きました。
